Poor customer service
Day 1 player. Spent a lot of time and money building characters, only for them to become obsolete.
Worth a look in if you can resist spending, but a huge amount of content locked behind spending on characters
Any issues with charges and purchases do not get dealt with. Customer service absolutely abysmal if you do have a problem - presume AI generated responses. Very generic
Can buy multiple full AAA games for the cost of building a single character. Hoyo at its most typical
Only recommend if you like jiggles

I’m going to cry
This game is so fun bro. I’ve literally stopped playing other games and only play this now. If only s ranks were easier to get lol.
Pay to get what you want
The game as a full is more like a five star the problem is the gotcha. I’ve been playing since launch now and the game just feels brutal to pull what you want. You are either going to save up or you’re gonna have to spend 100 to 200 for what you exactly want. After while the game loses its charm. It also doesn’t help that the 50 / 50s don’t really motivate you to go again. No worse feeling than pulling the lesser S+ rank character off the channel. You’re usually going the full 70 pulls. Game just feels like a grind and it’s just a shame.

Playing since launch! Happy 2nd year
I started playing since day one, I came from playing genshin so it was at first a little confusing for me. Also I thought it wasn’t really my “style” since I preferred the nature like scenes from genshin. BUT boy oh boy! How things change. The story, the animation, the character’s personality! I play more Zenless now ❤️

Don’t become Genshin
ZZZ was the first Hoyo game to add a skip button, which was a huge quality of life improvement. Genshin writers have ruined story mode in all games for me with their unskippable tedious dialog. Unfortunately, ZZZ has added increasingly more unskippable dialog to their story modes, particularly right before accepting the main story quest. This is a problem, because while in main story mode, you cannot exit, so if you’re trying to smash the “next” button in the tedious prelude dialog, you’ll end up accidentally starting the main story quest. Meanwhile, the stories in ZZZ are getting more tedious. Much like Genshin, they used to have variety of things to do in a quest, but now they’re loading up the stories with boilerplate content. In addition to unskippable dialogs, they now have battle after battle against the same monsters with no variety. This is an improvement over Genshin, which maybe gives you 1 or 2 things to do other than read boring dialog (or walk to the next location for the next boring dialog) during a quest. But it still gets tedious. Another slight improvement over Genshin is that quests tend to keep you moving through an area, instead of constantly doubling back to have more chats. ZZZ and Genshin both indulge in the tedious “walk with me” quest modes, which is just another way of having unskippable dialog, but way worse. ZZZ at least sometimes lets you run ahead of the yapping character and they run to keep up with you, but they’re increasingly leaning on the Genshin trope of having the yapper walk at a snail’s pace, so slow that you have to nudge nudge nudge nudge your character to follow since they can’t possibly walk that slow. And if you fall behind or get too far ahead, they stop moving and stop talking, which just drags out the most boring content. Finally, ZZZ limited-time events are becoming overly complicated, which combined with the increasingly tedious story quests, makes me play ZZZ less and less. The limited-time events are so complicated, they have to pile on loads of tedious tutorial mode, which is pointless because you still have to read through tons of mechanic descriptions on event items/characters to figure out how to progress optimally. When I play ZZZ, there’s 20-30 badges on every screen and in the game world demanding my attention, and I can never seem to catch up.
