Great but …
Many of my students find the size, location and font of the questions difficult to read. The questions are amazing, but students feel disheartened when they struggle to read the screen.
I love this app
You learn a lot in this game and it is loads of fun at the same time, and even if you get the math question wrong they encourage you to try again. There are different parts of math in the stage so you can work on the math that you are having a challenge with. So this is a game that helps you with all sorts of math equations.

This app is fantastic! I had heard lots of great reviews from friends and colleagues and I can say it worked really well in my classroom. This app targets all the misconceptions my students have about place value and really gets them thinking about our number system. I will definitely continue using this throughout the year as a way to ensure my students are constantly thinking about place value! A fantastic app which should definitely be used in a classroom

I don't buy many apps but I had heard good things about this one from my son's grade 3 teacher and it hasn't disappointed! It's helped my son enjoy maths and it's one of the only educational apps that he hasn't gotten bored with.

Great to find an app created by a teacher and based on research, it can be hard for parents to distinguish between the legit useful apps and the games.
Place value is essential for kids to 'get' and this app is excellent. My grade 2 boy loved it and I observed that he was beginning to think about place value in an entirely new way.

Get this app when you teach place value!!
I used this app with my Year 3 students and it was fantastic for a range of abilities. It really made my students THINK and it also made me think about the place value questions I pose! Very comprehensive and I love the growth mindset messages!! Highly recommended!

This app is great for practicing concepts of place value at home or at school.
Straightforward, easy to use and has no distracting effects, as a teacher I would gladly use this with students from year 2 all the way through to years 5 and 6.
