Zero Waste App User Reviews

Shops

I've added in local shops cause there aren't any and they still haven't been added

Incomplete list

There’s a bonafide zero waste shop in my large, metropolitan area that isn’t on the map, and the local listings are mostly just farmers markets.

Not what I expected

This app has only about 15 stores for the whole world. I live in Minnesota and my closest store was in St. Louis, MO. It also cost $0.99 to even look at the store. This is a horrible app.

Don’t download if in Texas

Austin has come a long ways and not a single store on the map for Texas.

And yes, you have to pay $0.99 every time you want to unlock a new city. Not recommended. This seems more like a profit app than actually trying to do good in the world. Snooze.

Don’t waste your time downloading

You have to pay to unlock your city’s info. The info is not helpful once you do. Save yourself the time.

Useless

This app is almost pointless. It barely has any cities or resources.

Disappointed

Now we’re reading Bea Johnson’s book, and the developer name looks like her sites so IF this is her app, for shame. Um, so I was expecting more of a yelp type app. Bases on zip codes, user entered data. San Diego is a major city and there’s nothing? Errrr... I can name six stores off the top of my head not including the multitude of breweries that fill growlers. Disappointed, it’s silly to pay to unlock cities when there’s only a handful listed. This would actually discourage new minimalists, and aspiring low wasters. I didn’t mind the graphics but the content was lame.

Hopes....crushed....

I live in Maine, in the United States. I downloaded this app In hopes that it would help me find lower waist options in our area. The nearest place to us that it recommended was Montreal Quebec, which is about 9 to 10 hours from me. Not helpful.

:D They came out with a mobile app!!

Incredibly useful and helpful to being eco-friendly and going Zero Waste when you shop!! I've been using the map available on their website for months now, and have secretly been praying that they would come out with a mobile app version. This is a godsend!

Basically a scam to get more money out of you

The app may be free but have to pay to download the information for each and every location even though much of the information is collected by volunteers. Also, the closest ZeroWaste stores listed are across the state. A complete waste to me.

Awful

This app makes no sense would not recommend
