What's New in Zetik

2.0.1

July 27, 2026

NewsBang is now Zetik — your personal intelligence officer. Same team, same mission, sharper focus: Zetik tracks what you care about around the clock, briefs you every day, and remembers your preferences for the long run. What's new: • A new name and a new look — NewsBang is now Zetik • Trackers: say it once, tracked 24/7 • Chat: retune your feed in one sentence • Memory: your preferences and requests, remembered for good A note on the name change: our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have been updated to say "Zetik" wherever they previously said "NewsBang." The name is the only change to these agreements — your rights, your data, and how we handle it remain exactly the same. No action is needed.

Really interesting concept

I found this app to be a fresh way to ingest news content and think it’s going to continue to get better. Nice work so far!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind words! We're thrilled you're enjoying the experience.

Notifications

The app works great. The only problem I have found is within the last couple updates. Something happened with the notifications and it’s been bugged when I receive a notification I receive it twice back to back the same notification.

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback! We're happy to let you know that this duplicate notification issue has been fixed in our latest update. Please make sure your app is up to date and let us know if you continue to experience any issues.

Notifications function broken

Enjoy the app but it seems that I can’t get the notifications feature to work. I have only selected Morin brief updates and I still get every notification for the insights and opinions. Please fix!

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback! We're happy to let you know that this issue has been fixed in our latest update. Please make sure your app is up to date and let us know if you continue to experience any issues.

No source review

It’s “AI” adds tainted sources including terrorist supporting organizations, and regularly includes state and manufacturer propaganda. This isn’t “news”, and it’s insulting that they are included as unbiased sources.

Response from developer

We carefully filter all sources to ensure they are as reliable as possible. However, most news inevitably carries some bias, and we’re continuously working to minimize it. If you find any report that seems inaccurate, please share it with us at support@newsbang.com — we truly appreciate your feedback.
