WOL doesn’t work
WOL works by sending from router but app will not successfully start with WOL command.
Cast is broken
Adding the cast feature is highly appreciated, but the actual movie is never visible and using it for menus is broken since there is no Options button!!! Please fix!

Waste of time
While I like my zidoo Z9X player, this app must meant to be a joke. Connection via QR-Code does not work at all and while trying to input the IP address manually, I noticed that I cant, because the number keyboard, that is popping up, shows only commas except for points. Seriously?
While connecting via the first QR-Code in the zidoo’s connection app leads to the player‘s web interface (which is not really a good option to control the zidoo remotely, either because it is laggy and some folks had the brillant idea to put dark text on a black background) the app refuses to connect and is not usable.

Awful outdated app and the new 2023 Zidoo pro range is even worse.
Bug in copy-paste text: missing &
Good app, but when using text input in filling URLS it has a problem with the character “&”. Probably a bug to fix. When I do “copy-paste” text from smartphone I have to fill the missing & manually with the remote. Thanks

Great except…..
The user interface itself is great. The only issue I have (and it is extremely annoying) is that I keep having to re-establish a connection between the app on my iPhone and the Zidoo. This is hit and miss and only occurs when I boot up the Zidoo and then the app. It doesn’t happen ever time but it is frequent. It will never drop connection when using it. Just when you’ve powered down the Zidoo and come back the next day to watch something and it doesn’t pair. You might get lucky and not have this happen for a couple of weeks but it’s a sure fire thing that it will happen. Other than that, it’s a great app.

Great App, Needs Night Mode
I really like the App, It needs a Night Mode.
If it has one I couldn’t find it, so when playing music in a dark room, the white background is too bright.

Can’t start from the app
I was able to start my Zidoo Z9X only once. Now I have to use the remote control to start up then use the app. If there is any tip would be appreciated.

Zidoo ios remote controller is just perfect, give it a try to figure out the difference. It works flawlessly than physical remote.

Good app to control your zidoo but still no landscape mode when used with an iPad. :-(
