About
Start at 1. Draw through 2, then 3, then 4. Cover every square on the board. That's the whole rule, and it takes about ten seconds to learn.
Then the boards get bigger. Some have two or three lines that have to share the space. Some numbers split, and you send a path off in each direction. Walls start getting in the way. By the big boards near the end, you'll stare at one corner for a minute before the move clicks, and that's the good part.
There are 2,500 levels free. Once you've solved ten, the daily puzzle opens: a new board every day, cut into a different shape. Monday might be a moon, Sunday a big bell, and on Halloween it's a pumpkin. Keep a streak going if you like that sort of thing, or ignore it and just play.
Solving also earns you skins. New line colours, shapes for the numbers, number fonts, grids, frames, the burst you get when you finish, and the sounds the lines make. Put together your own look, or collect a whole matching set. Holidays bring their own sets, and you earn those by playing the daily puzzle while the event is on.
A few things we cared about:
• Every puzzle has exactly one answer, so you never have to guess.
• Stuck? Take a hint, undo, or tap a line to shorten it.
• Close the app mid-level and your board is still there when you come back.
• Works offline. No account, no sign-up.
• Colour is never the only clue, because every line has its own pattern too, whatever skin you pick. There's also high contrast, a calm mode and bigger text.
• Achievements to collect along the way, if that's your thing.
• Plays in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Filipino.
If you run out of free levels, there are six packs of 500 more. Artisan, Expert and Master are the same puzzle, just bigger and meaner. Frost brings in ice and pipes. Gatekeeper has one-way gates, switches and links. Enigma hides some of the numbers and leaves you to work them out. Each pack comes with its own set of skins. Get all six and the Combination pack comes free, with the twists mixed together on the same board.
Your first few levels have no ads at all, and one small purchase turns them off for good.
