User reviews

Zlagboard Pro 2.0

The Board is great, I use it religiously.
Has really brought up my climb level.
Upper body arms and fingers have never felt so healthy climb wise.
Even with an aging body, (Currently 43), joints are now much healthier, and a great reduction in climb related joint injuries, due to targeted strengthening with this system.

The app still has its bugs that I wish would be fixed. Though the app is streamline and efficient. Could use an update with some new programs to mix it up.

To bring your game to a new level, all I have to say is “Patxi Usobiaga”

Enjoy!

Awesome but Needs some fixes

I love the Zlagboard app. It has a variety of great workouts to follow.

There are some minor bugs that need fixing:

-sometimes doesn’t register pull-ups or hangs properly in workout plans. It will show an incomplete percentage even though I have complete everything.

Would also love it if I could edit those workouts if the app makes a mistake. Manual edit would be amazing.

Also, the training plans need wifi to work which is a major negative in my opinion. Next update should include the option to download the plans to your phone for remote training. Wifi is not always accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Thanks!

Simple fixes...

When I hang my phone on the mount all the buttons are covered by the silicone band!!! I have an iPhone XS max. But any phone would work if all the buttons were moved in closer to the center of the phone.

I also would love to see how well I am doing (%) in the middle of my workout. That way I can see if maybe im too tired to be hang boarding today, or maybe I should select a different workout.

I would also love a pause button. Sometimes I have a long workout and have to go to the bathroom but dont want to leave my phone. But when I take the phone down it uses one of my reps and screws up my percentage. So a “pause” button or a “save remaining workout for later” button would be fantastic.

Also maybe add an option to select different levels of crimps if people want to be that specific. With maybe a visual representation of what that looks like.

When it come to the “level check” option. I would love to see what that entails so I dont necessarily have to waste my energy doing the workout. Maxing out on a lot of things is a TON OF WORK. I use the hangboard enough to know where I am if there was some kind of chart that told me what would make me land on easy medium har or superhard.

Also everything I make a new custom workout and then click the back button in the top left. It lags and takes about 5 seconds to actually go back. If I accidentally click the back button twice it seems to think I clicked on the Mammut symbol in the top left and it takes me to a black page that I can not escape unless I force quit the app and start over. So I constantly have to re load the whole app because of a 5 second lag.

And lastly I have the mammut diamond finger board so maybe thats the issue (my zlagboard pro 2.0 is on its way to me now) but I would love to see the size of the holds and degree of slopes as a plan my workout.

Disappointing update

Old app was great with ability to make custom plans and do custom workouts. New update is terrible. No ability for freedom or doing what you want. Will stop using app.

Response from developer

Custom workouts will be available in the upcoming app updates. Please be sure to have the latest version installed on your device. Best regards

Failure

On selecting a plan, I get an entire page filled with NoSuchMethodError...

Surely this should have been checked.

Response from developer

Hello, I can confirm the issue has been solved. Please download the latest version of the app. We apologize for the inconvenience. Best regards
