Didn’t get accepted because of “my look” which is odd because I’m a fairly conventional looking commercial model, and I got approved for NewBook. Weird!! I get that it’s necessary to be selective so that clients have high quality models to choose from but come on guys. I’m not ugly, I successfully book on other platforms 😂

Great for models!
I love Zodel! Everyone is quick to respond and securing funds before the gig is booked is genius. Models know net 30-60-90 is not ideal for anyone and Zodel solves that. Its also great for networking . Only reason I gave 4 stars is because of the photos/video portion of app can be glitchy to use.
Easy to use...prompt payment
Zodel is an easy to use app that has a decent amount of castings (here in Las Vegas at least). Their communication is good and payment was sent a day after the job. If you're a model or looking for a model give it a shot!

Rejecting people for no apparent reason. Probably because I’m a petite model.

I am a model with 8 years of experience, and according to the support, I do not meet any of the criteria they have.
They also cite the fact that they don't have clients for man. So good luck guys! Being a male model isn't easy.

Male modeling ain’t easy!
I had bad initial reaction to this app but I realized that by rejecting me Zodel helped my brand. Their support team is really harsh and i will be kinder because people like them exist. Being superficial is a construct we have to deal with in the modeling world particularly as skinnier males. I don’t eat much and a lot of people make fun of me. I hope like the SKIMS. They will do something similar for males.

Zodel requires professional shots and does not tell you where they want them taken or by who. The lack of direction from their team tells us that the app is not worth using.
Discrimination
This app exercises discrimination and doesn’t allow women of color to model despite that I have 7 years of experience and published worldwide. The message said “ your look isn’t what the market is looking for right now. Feel free to apply in 6 months! Pfffff my look? I am consistently getting modeling jobs and I’m looking to maximize my earnings but this app is racist and discriminates.

Questionable.
They say they’re seeking models, yet don’t want to approve literal models with experience and portfolios. They have tons of fake followers on SM which adds up with the reviews stating there’s no real jobs available yet. Unsure if these are just startup road bumps or if this is a dishonest company.

Happy to be accepted, but unfortunately there are no jobs quite yet . It would be nice to see other models who have been accepted too..excited to see if this app turns into something useful as a freelance model
Doesn’t work
I used the verification system so I could use the app, nothing worked and I was pending for over 2 days. Support team did nothing to resolve my problem. You basically can’t do anything without getting approval, yet the verification system doesn’t work.
