Worst experience ever
I won’t suggest zolo to anyone. They looted money from me. First they informed me that everything is included in rent but they added additional charges to the rent everytime and calls it maintenance fees and electricity fees and that they add and can be modify. So there’s no guarantee that they are charging the exact amount. I had to serve notice period even when I was jot in the property because the security deposit was so hefty. They even charged extra amount for the 10 days as it falls under the 30 days notice period so the extra 10 days of the next month need to be paid even if you ate existing the property on the last date of the previous month.
The service is bad anything that happen that has to be through the customer care and they don’t corporate at all.

Worst App – Fake Reviews & No Support 😷🤮🤮
I’m writing this so no one else has to go through what I did.
This app is completely manipulated and dishonest. It blocks any negative reviews and only allows fake 5-star ratings, so new users fall into the trap. I tried posting about my real experience in a PG that had water leakage, filthy rooms, stray animals messing up the place, and extremely high electricity bills (₹900–₹1000 per person!) — but the app refused to publish it.
Even worse, the PG management was rude and money-minded. When my room got flooded because of building issues, they took forever to respond, and then had the audacity to charge me penalty for shifting rooms. They promised support and fairness at the time of joining, but later, everything was a lie. No deposit refunds unless you follow their twisted terms — even after completing 12 months, they ask for a 30-day notice or they keep your money.
And guess what? This app protects those PGs by deleting or rejecting genuine complaints. That’s not just bad business — it’s dangerous. People trust these apps to find a safe place to live, and this one actively hides the truth.
If you care about your money, health, and peace of mind — DO NOT use this app. It’s a scam, and it puts people at risk.

Issues in Rent Payment
This is one of the irritating experience with Zolo App. The developer of this app don't coding and stuff from last 4 months i am not able to pay rent properly the upi doesn't work. Whenever i enter my upi number in Razorpay the payment doesn't go through each time. They have Payu option also but that only shows empty screen and razorpay is adding extra charge for payment via UPI. I don't understand why i am paying this charge and the app even doesn't work at all. This is very frustrating and irritating. If you are a apple user just avoid this app. I mean they can't even handle a single app how will they manage PGs then. They don't have a expert coder it seems. I have raised ticket also but no reply or same replies even though i am regularly facing issues. My device details are iphone 16 pro max and ios version 18.3.1

Fraud!!
I stayed in Zolo Tulpar, Bangalore for almost 50 days. They will tell you the amount you need to pay to stay, and when you do pay, then comes the extra 900+ agreement fee and 2300+ exit charge. Exit charge is fine. But they won’t even mention this much agreement fee before. Moreover, I got charged more than 5 times the amount for electricity(common area/kitchen) than i used in my own room, where I didn’t even go once. Most importantly, the property manager and his wife used the common kitchen every day for 2 to 3 hours(collectively in morning and evening for cooking their food), when i raised the issue, they stopped picking up my calls. I was about to come and stay again next month, but not after this incident. I won’t ever stay at any of the zolo properties and would suggest anyone and everyone i know, not to stay there. Fraud is all they can be.
