Exactly what I needed

This app is such a smart idea. I’ve always wanted something more flexible than a normal calculator but simpler than building spreadsheets, and this does that perfectly. It makes organizing formulas and testing different number scenarios incredibly easy.
The interface is clean, intuitive, and surprisingly powerful once you start using it. I love being able to adjust values and instantly see updated results without having to redo everything manually. It saves me so much time for budgeting, planning, and everyday calculations.
You can tell this app was designed with real users in mind. It’s fast, reliable, and easy to learn even if you’re not super technical. Definitely one of the most useful productivity apps I’ve downloaded in a long time.

Finally, a spreadsheet app without the hassle!

I’ve always struggled with traditional spreadsheet apps on my phone because the interface is usually too clunky for quick tasks. Zolvy is a game-changer. It’s simplified enough to use on the go but powerful enough to handle actual math and tracking. I love the Secret Math vibe, it makes calculating costs and profits for my projects so much faster.

Great app, but key feature removed.

I used Solutionist a lot because its calculations supported conditional statements. The new version no longer has this feature, and that makes it much less useful for me. I reached out to the developers a couple of times since the beginning of the year through X to ask if they plan to bring it back, but I haven’t heard back. I hope they restore conditional statements or at least give an update on their plans.

Turned me into a numbers guy

This is the most useful and unique calculator app I’ve used.
When I want to do a calculation, I just open a fresh sheet and do it. All the calculations I do are automatically recorded, backed up in my iCloud and ready for reuse.
This is fantastic for planning because I can play with the numbers to do what-if scenarios.

After switching phones, all the formulas and budgets I did a year back got auto-downloaded to the new phone.
Just brilliant!

So easy, yet powerful

I’ve been using Zolvy for 2 years now. It has become my go-to math and numbers tool.
It’s smarter than a calculator and easier than a spreadsheet. Its unique design just works at every stage and I’ve built over 50 custom calculators with it.
I also emailed the developer with a couple of feature ideas and one of them has been added to the app.
I recommend you try this app. It will give you a mathematical edge that only a spreadsheet in your pocket can do.

Good app but need better plans

It’s a good app, I tried creating a sheet to calculate how much I should pay when I purchase something like tax and tips, but when I’m about to make the purchase, realized it’s a annual plan not one time purchase. It’s a simple spreadsheet with nicer interface, don’t see why it needs a subscription.

Update: developer made a one time lifetime purchase available for short period of time.

Simple and powerful

I had to play around the app and watch the demo video to figure out Solutionist’s way of thinking. But after that, it’s provided a powerful way to handle calculations and is actually simpler than other calculators. Developer is easy to reach too.

They just don’t answer Support requests.
Documentation is too summary.

I did cut my subscription and moved to other options.

Very Useful

I am a wastewater treatment operator and I utilize specific formulas every workday. Since finding this app, I’ve been using it exclusively for all my needs. If the developer sees this, may I ask for the functionality to add text descriptions?? Not sure how to implement it but that would be the icing on the cake. 5/5 recommend

Hello, there is already a feature to add descriptions to individual rows. Just tap on the left half of a row to add a description, prefix, and suffix to make the sheet more readable. Fantastic Unique Calculator/Computer

I am very impressed with solutionist. It is a unique spin on a spreadsheet that really works. You do need to take a few moments to understand it’s approach but once you do, you have a very powerful way of dealing with calculations and equations. I use this every day in my medical practice and find it exceedingly useful. I advise that you give this a shot as I do not think you will be disappointed.

Stddev for population is the only option.

Standard deviation for sample is needed to make this more viable

Unique and powerful

This is a perfect spot between a calculator and a spreadsheet. I started out tracking my relocation expenses. Now anytime I need to do a calculation, I quickly open up a new sheet and type it out. This app instantly automates my calculations and syncs to iCloud.
A very unique calculator app.
Please release an iPad version.
