About

Free for up to 5 colonies. More colonies, photos and documents come with the iBeekeeper package, which applies to all iBeekeeper apps. Grafted on day 0. When was caging again? Zucht keeps track of your queen rearing, batch by batch. You enter when you grafted, and the app puts all the dates that follow into the calendar for you. THE BREEDING BATCH Each batch has a name, the grafting day, the number of cups, the colony the grafting material comes from, the nurse colony, the mating station and your notes. As soon as you create it, you see which days the steps fall on: acceptance check on day four, caging on day ten, emergence on day twelve, mating flight on day twenty, check for laying on day thirty. In the batch you see which step is due now and which ones are already behind you. After the check, you enter how many cells were accepted. THE QUEENS For each cup the app creates a queen. Each one has her status, from queen cell through caged, emerged and mating flight to laying and introduction. You enter marking, emergence, mating, start of laying and introduction, and choose the colony she went to. Her number is shown in the colour of her year. THE BREEDING CALENDAR The upcoming dates of all batches are in one calendar, sorted by day. If you like, the app reminds you on the day itself and, if you want, up to seven days before, at the time you set. The reminders come from the phone itself, even without a signal. TOGETHER WITH IBEEKEEPER The colonies you choose for grafting material, nursing and introduction are the ones from your account, just as you keep them in the Bienenvölker app. You will also find your breeding batches in the web app at webapp.iBeekeeper.de. On the iPad, the list and the batch sit side by side. You need an iBeekeeper account to use the app. You create it in the Bienenvölker app or at webapp.iBeekeeper.de. You can use Zucht without a package. To create and change entries, the app needs an internet connection. What's New in Zucht

1.0.1

October 19, 2026

New in this version: - Two-factor sign-in: if it is switched on for your account, the app asks for a code from your authenticator app, a code by email or a recovery code after your password. If you like, it trusts your device for 60 days. You can set it up in the web app under Settings → Security. - With “Report a problem” you can attach up to five pictures of your own. - Reminders from the breeding calendar now use the familiar iBeekeeper sound. - If your device is set to a language the app does not offer, it now appears in English instead of German.
