Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: Wrist Temperature Tracker at Free against WeightPlus's $0.99. Wrist Temperature Tracker also leads on rating (3.4 vs 1.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). WeightPlus's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (8.2 vs 18.0). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Wrist Temperature Tracker holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wrist Temperature Tracker has 127 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of WeightPlus's written reviews are positive against 28% of Wrist Temperature Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

WeightPlus ships an update every 2 months, Wrist Temperature Tracker every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
