Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Praise at 75% against MonitorMix's 16%. Praise also leads on rating (4.7 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (625 vs 87). MonitorMix's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Praise sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. MonitorMix asks for nothing beyond the download.
Praise holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Praise has 625 ratings behind it against 87, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 16% of MonitorMix's written reviews are positive against 75% of Praise's.
MonitorMix ships an update every 7 months, Praise every 11 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
