Verdict

The call

Google Cloud and Lab Scale both sit at 3.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 30% of Google Cloud's written reviews are positive against 0% of Lab Scale's. Google Cloud also leads on ratings volume (103 vs 3) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Lab Scale's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
