Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: EdgeEver at 5.0 against Google Cloud's 3.3. EdgeEver also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Google Cloud's advantage is ratings volume (110 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
EdgeEver holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Google Cloud has 110 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Google Cloud ships an update weekly, EdgeEver every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
