Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Prosegur SMART. at every 4 weeks against ADT Alert's every 5 months. Prosegur SMART. also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (2.3K vs 67). ADT Alert's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Prosegur SMART. holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Prosegur SMART. has 2.3K ratings behind it against 67, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of ADT Alert's written reviews are positive against 27% of Prosegur SMART.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ADT Alert ships an update every 5 months, Prosegur SMART. every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
