Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Star Pet Center at none against Miswag's shown. Star Pet Center also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Miswag's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Star Pet Center holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miswag has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Miswag ships an update every 2 weeks, Star Pet Center every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
