ABOUT THE APP The Black Library Audio app is the ultimate way to experience Black Library’s wide range of audiobooks and audio dramas wherever you are, whenever you want, right on your iPhone and iPad. Choose from a wide range of over 170 audio titles set in the immersive worlds of Warhammer 40,000, The Horus Heresy and Warhammer Age of Sigmar. KEY FEATURES STORE View the vast range of audiobooks and dramas, filtered by setting. Find your favourite series, or a new one, and buy every title that belongs to it. Get a taste of the action with a free sample before buying. LIBRARY Browse the audiobooks and audio dramas you’ve purchased in the app’s Library. Sort your audios by purchase date, title or series. They’re all stored remotely for you to download to your device whenever you want to listen to them. You can toggle freely between titles on your device and everything you’ve purchased. PLAYER The app also features an audio player, allowing you to listen to your downloaded audiobooks and audio dramas wherever you are, whenever you want. SEARCH A fully-featured search function allows you to find the audio you’re looking for in a variety of ways. You can search by title, author or keyword. Looking for stories that feature Ultramarines? Just type it into the search bar and you’ll find them all. The search function will even shortlist and show titles based on what you type, as you type it. EXPERIENCE With our audiobooks you get to experience the story as it was meant to be heard. Word for word your narrator will read the story to you, straight from the page. Audiobooks are usually full and unabridged versions of novels, novellas or short stories. With our audio dramas you are immersed in the story. Gunfire, battle cries and music form the backdrop on which actors play out the characters. The narrator links the tale together so all you have to do is listen to the action. Audio Drama’s are uniquely scripted and can range in length between roughly 10 minutes and 2 hours.

GUIDED BATTLE SETUP Choose your battle size, muster your armies, select your mission, set up the battlefield, select fixed or tactical secondary missions, deploy your units, determine who will go first, and even remember to resolve your pre-battle abilities! Then hit that start button to begin the fight for glory! PHASE BY PHASE CONTROL Step through the phases of each player's turn as intended by the rules and objectives. Your CP each turn is automatically added so you'll never forget, score primary and secondary objective points at the correct times, get prompted to select secret missions, and more! VICTORY POINT SCORING Simply tap to score points for primary and secondary missions at the correct time. See your overall score and progress for each mission during the battle, and know when you've hit the limit! COMMAND POINT AND STRATAGEM USAGE Automatically gain your CP at the start of your turn, check how many CP you have, see the specific stratagems available to you for the current phase, and simply click a button to activate them and spend your CP. Per-phase limits stop you accidentally using a stratagem twice (we're looking at you, Command Re-roll!). CONNECT WITH FRIENDS Connect with your friends to start a battle that's linked to each of your accounts, see overall stats of your battle history with each friend, and see your friends' battles against other players through our updates feed. BATTLE EVENT LOGS See exactly when that stratagem was used, review the points that were scored, confirm you actually did get your additional CP at the start of your turn (until you realise BattleBase doesn't make mistakes and you stop checking), and more! A HISTORY OF ALL YOUR BATTLES See the full history of your previous battles against your friends, including names, scores, and events. SHARED EXPERIENCE Enable both players to easily access information about the state of the battle, including the primary objective, each player's selected secondary objectives, victory and command points, and stratagems available to their opponent. MULTI-DEVICE SUPPORT The ultimate large screen shared experience via a large screen next to your gaming table. Don't have a large screen? Each player can control the battle using their smartphone. Or for the ultimate experience, use phones or tablets alongside your large screen. BattleBase will keep them all in sync.
