Purpose-built for the tree seed supply chain, Squirrel is a one-stop digital tool and marketplace that efficiently connects seed producers and growers and offers improved data capture and sharing. For Collectors: Collection prompts within Squiirrel help seed collectors (new and experienced) gather and store all relevant data connected to a seed collection. Track your collections by including GPS data, guided seed and tree stand details, photos and more as you collect. Keep your collections private or take them to market! Every collection captured using the app becomes traceable through a QR code. For Growers, Seed Banks, and Restoration Teams: Requests for seed can be easily posted to the marketplace for collectors to respond to. Providing demand signals for seeds needed helps build a more responsive tree seed supply chain so that the right seeds, for the right ecoregions, are available at the right time. Plus, Squiirrel enhances traceability and allows access to seed transfer-relevant data, unlocking improved decisions and outcomes.
