Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: RowingCoach at 3.3 against Float's 1.9. RowingCoach also leads on ratings volume (117 vs 10) and review sentiment (38% vs 26%). Float's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
