Couldn’t make an account

Just sat loading trying to make my account and wouldn’t go no further.

try to sign up but it sticks on loading, tried accessing the support link but it doesn’t go anywhere, just doesn’t work

Best rowing app

Excellent rowing app for Concept 2 rower. I use it wirelessly to record all my workouts and it makes it easy to track your progress. The only reason not 5 stars is they need to add ability to connect to Strava.

Can’t sign in

I created an acc a week ago and it still won’t let me sign in.

Can’t setup app

Finally recorded by ergstick after months of waiting. Went to setup app on my iPhone and now I’m getting hammered with activation emails ecru 30 seconds with no information/activation link provided. Tried doing a password reset (app won’t let me login with new account) and I’ve now getting hammered 2x from this app page (password reset email, but again no link in email).

I’ll beyond frustrated

Great for tracking rowing data, bad if you use an Apple Watch

The app is great for tracking rowing data, splits etc... but it doesn’t log against the Apple Watch ‘move’ data... which broke me after completing a 10km row 🤣

Hopeless

The new app requires an account and updating the previous non-account required app deletes all your data without warning.

To cap it all, it’s impossible to create a new account with the new app and simply says ‘invalid data’ whatever you enter.

I therefore have no opinion as to the actual app, but this kind of poor development does not seem at least to me, to bode well.

Be wary of the automatic upgrade data deletion.

Pretty good

Good app just trouble recording intervals

Horrible do NOT get

If I could give negative stars I would. App stopped, repeated attempts to contact support were ignored. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY

Decent app

Worked very well initially, but it developed a problem recording intervals. Intervals were not recorded individually, only the total meters rowed and the overall time was recorded.

Oh, did you actually WANT your session data?

Maybe 1/10 workouts successfully saves. The best part? If I don’t connect the app my tower saves every time. Connect this nest of bug ridden nonsense and it gives a memory error almost every time. The only saving grace is I can screen shot the end of the session sense the screen stops actively updating after the rower crashes.

Lots of potential

This app has the foundation to be the best simple erg app out there. However, it has its issues.
1) Although it records the overall workout, it does not record all the way as it cuts off randomly
2) no way to organize workouts by category (such as Steady State/cardio or HIIT (high intensity interval training))

1) app does connect well (at first) with the erg without delay
2) gives you additional data that allows the user to not need to change the display to record specific data

Buggy, frustrating app

Awful. The app will crash middle of a work out and lose all data. App will crash at end of work out. There is no save button so you need to disconnect at exactly the right time or watch all your data disappear. Right now I have an active session open and it won’t persist because of one simple lacking feature. Inexcusable. Lazy. Disappointing.

OK if you don’t want to export data

Connection to Concept2 Logbook doesn't work. It shares only limited summary data to Apple Health. Not recommended if you want to export data. It does allow use of Bluetooth HRM’s with PM4 monitor and you get nice charts in landscape mode

LOVE IT

Works flawlessly except it won’t let me save the image of my workout. I can share it but I can’t save the entire image.

Works with my iPhone 8 Plus.

The best for concept 2

This is the best app I could find for workout logging on my concept 2. Very nice graphs and it provides useful information about the session from a glance. It isn't trying to be too flashy, it does what I want and it does it well.

Edit: It would be extremely helpful to be able to see multiple sessions plotted out over time so as to see your progress.

Stick with the Ergstick version!

The app crashes everytime during rest periods of intervals. Seems to take ages to connect to PM5. Very frustrating!

Not there yet

Nice app --- when it works. Continues to disconnect frequently and unpredictable in the midst of pieces and for some reason misnames all custom routines set up on Concept 2 model D PM5. Simply too buggy and unreliable at this time to trust, hope it is updated and improved.

Ergo rowing app - free!

Been waiting for this app to arrive - as promised : free to use, connects via Bluetooth to Concept2 PM5, easily. Delivers recording of rowing session, easy connection. Provides lots of data. Can pay for Premium service, but enough for me. Promises to be able to upload to Concept logbook soon. I'm sure more features will develop but does what it needs to do - thanks!
