Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Bolsi at 5.0 against McDonald’s's 3.4. Bolsi also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). McDonald’s's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (6.8K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Bolsi holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: McDonald’s has 6.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Bolsi ships an update every 4 months, McDonald’s fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
