FlagPoint counts your days across states and countries so you never accidentally trigger a tax residency you didn't see coming. If you split time between multiple states or travel internationally, your physical presence determines where you owe taxes. Most states use a 183-day threshold — spend more than half the year there, and you may owe state income tax on your entire worldwide income. FlagPoint replaces guesswork with a real-time, evidence-backed system. DAY-BY-DAY TRACKING • See your home days vs. away days at a glance • Watch multiple states and countries with custom day caps • Get warned before you cross a threshold • Color-coded calendar shows your entire year SCAN & IMPORT EVIDENCE • Scan boarding passes — paper, mobile, or Apple Wallet screenshots • Snap photos of receipts, hotel confirmations, and documents • Import flights directly from your calendar • Import boarding passes from Apple Wallet • Log manual check-ins for road trips and border crossings AUDIT-READY VAULT • Every document stored securely and timestamped • Organized by type: flights, receipts, check-ins, photos • Generate a full residency report for any tax year • Share reports with your CPA via a secure, password-protected link SMART PRESENCE ENGINE • Automatically attributes each day to a location based on your evidence • Confidence tiers: confirmed evidence vs. your word • Gap detection identifies days that need records • Conflict resolution when evidence disagrees BUILT FOR PRIVACY • Your data stays yours — no location data is sold or shared • GPS tracking is fully opt-in • Evidence stored encrypted in your personal vault FlagPoint is free to download with a 3-day trial of Pro features. Pro unlocks unlimited watched locations, full residency reports, and priority support. Terms of Use: https://flagpointapp.com/terms.html
