Poseidon Synth - The Ocean of Sound For all creatures in the ocean of sound - Sonic textures from other worlds, Analog signature sounds, Cut-through-the-mix leads and silkily smooth pads: Poseidon sets a new standard for sound design and ease of use. All of this was made possible through a combination of the familiar, conceptual simplicity of the analog synthesis and our frequency domain based Spectral modelling synthesis technology. Spectral model oscillator Select a basic sound model from over hundred delivered with Poseidon. The basic sound model determines the sound characteristic you want to start: taking a artificial model like “Sawtooth” gives you analog style sounds. Use complex models from analyzed samples for earth shaking ambients and evolving pads. Model parameters High level controls allow for changing the spectral shape, the harmonicity and balances the level of residual noise and spectral amount of the oscillator model. F-Domain Filter The newly developed F-Domain filter allow for drastic changes in the resulting sound spectrum. Five filter types including lowpass/highpass characteristic can be used to shape the sound. They have the usual controls like cutoff but also very unusual ones like a variable slope ranging from 0 dB to 72 dB / Octave and independent controls for resonance and bandwidth! This kind of controls are only possible in the context of our F-Domain synthesis technology. This results in an extremely clear filter sound with breathtaking fast modulation possibilities. The filter type “Inverse” interprets the sound model as a "Source" and a resonant body "Filter". The cutoff parameter shifts the filterbase - this is the equivalent to making the instrument body smaller or bigger. Spatializer This simple control gives your sound a distinctive moving distribution in the stereo panorama. Every atomic sound particle has it´s own path through the space ! Sound browser The sound browser in Poseidon gives you a fast selection of sounds based on category and timbre. Zeitmaschine

Zeitmaschine is an audio engineering calculator with 4 different modes to compute tempo and distance related delay times, convert time related values and to calculate file sizes. DELAY TIME MODE Zeitmaschine is a delay time calculator with all divisors and multipliers relative to the time measurement you have done. Calculate delay times in milliseconds (ms) and beats per minute (bpm). Set the desired tempo via the tab-button, or write it down in ms/bpm, all options will be computed and a huge amount of 21 matched delay times will shown up at once, including dotted and triplet values. Take these determined times and put it to the delay time display of your effect or sound device, use it to set the right attack and release times of your dynamics (compressor/gate) or set the perfect pre delay time of your reverbs in addiction to the song tempo. Works with virtual-, 19“-, or stage devices (display needed). Zeitmaschine is a pretty quick app, brilliant for live engineering, where you can choose the perfect delay time in seconds, without scrolling the knobs of your FX-device back and forth. On the other hand you got an ultimate overview of alternative delay times, that´s great for doing experiments while mixing a track in a recording studio or in your DAW. You can use it on drums, vocals, guitars, ….you name it, and give them a complete new rhythmical structure. CONVERTER MODE Convert beats per minute to milliseconds, samples & hertz, depending on the audio sample rate. FILESIZE MODE Set the duration, bit depth, sample rate and channel number and get the filesize information for uncompressed files. Add the kbps rate to get the filesize for compressed files. DELAY LINE MODE Set the distance to main P.A. in meter or feet, add the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit and get the right delay times to delay the main P.A. to the backline and the line P.A. to the main P.A.
