Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Philips Sonicare at 4.8 against HDOR's 3.4. Philips Sonicare also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (58K vs 22). HDOR's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (49% vs 32%). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Philips Sonicare holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Philips Sonicare has 58K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Philips Sonicare's written reviews are positive against 49% of HDOR's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Philips Sonicare ships an update every 2 months, HDOR every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
