Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Vivara at none against ZZ MALL's shown. Vivara also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). ZZ MALL's advantage is review sentiment (66% vs 49%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Vivara against 4.9 for ZZ MALL. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vivara has 100 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 49% of Vivara's written reviews are positive against 66% of ZZ MALL's.
Vivara ships an update every 11 days, ZZ MALL monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
