Sensus is a system for mobile sensing. While it is running, Sensus monitors various types of information flowing through the device, interacts with the user to solicit information, and coordinates the collection, anonymization, and storage of this information locally as well as remotely. Sensus has been designed and implemented for use in research advancing public health and public safety. However, Sensus is a general-purpose system. Researchers in other fields, industrial companies, and individuals interested in self-monitoring might find it useful. By default, Sensus will not collect, store, or upload any information from the device on which it is running. Sensus must be configured by the device owner in order for it do these things. Thus, as shipped, the Sensus app does not pose any privacy risks. If you participate in Sensus studies, you will be presented with a detailed description of the data to be collected. Disclaimers: This app can, with your permission, continuously monitor your phone's GPS sensor. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app integrates with the iOS HealthKit so that, with your permission, the app can track a variety of indicators related to your health and well being. This app is capable of integrating with wearable Bluetooth sensors for collection of associated data. Use of Bluetooth can dramatically decrease battery life.

The application allows you to collect information within the field and then sync back to the cloud whenever you are ready. This includes a full map to select the feature while seeing your location on the map as well. It will also allow you to collect field reports, well water levels, and dam inspections.
