Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Bobadex at 67% against Sprinkles Now!'s 28%. Bobadex also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Sprinkles Now!'s advantage is rating (4.3 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (78 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Sprinkles Now! holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sprinkles Now! has 78 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of Sprinkles Now!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Bobadex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Sprinkles Now! ships an update every 7 months, Bobadex fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
