Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Guard Live at 3.4 against RXCamView's 3.1. Guard Live also leads on update cadence (weekly vs monthly). RXCamView's advantage is ratings volume (3.6K vs 41) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Guard Live holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RXCamView has 3.6K ratings behind it against 41, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of RXCamView's written reviews are positive against 38% of Guard Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RXCamView ships an update monthly, Guard Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
