Verdict
STJMOD and Teaspoon Rewards both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of STJMOD's written reviews are positive against 44% of Teaspoon Rewards's. STJMOD also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). Teaspoon Rewards's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 20). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for STJMOD against 4.8 for Teaspoon Rewards. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teaspoon Rewards has 5.8K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of STJMOD's written reviews are positive against 44% of Teaspoon Rewards's.
STJMOD ships an update every 8 months, Teaspoon Rewards fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
