Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Fawesome at 4.7 against GLEY's 3.2. Fawesome also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 6). GLEY's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Fawesome holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fawesome has 11K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 43% of Fawesome's written reviews are positive against 25% of GLEY's.
Fawesome ships an update weekly, GLEY every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
