Barometer Plus app measures air pressure and altitude using your device's built-in barometric pressure sensor. Because air pressure changes usually indicate a weather change, you can use this app to monitor and predict short-term weather variations. People suffering from migraine, headaches, or joint pain can monitor how barometric pressure impacts their mood. Fishermen can monitor the atmospheric pressure for right-time fishing. FEATURES: • The app contains a barometer and altimeter with a personalization graphic in classic analog style. It also displays the current temperature and humidity. • Display barometric pressure (sensor value) or mean sea level pressure (MSLP - value used in weather forecast services or stations). • Units support for pressure: mb, inHg, kPa, atm, Torr, psi, hPa, mmHg. Units for altitude: meter, feet. • Calibrate the barometer using altitude/location from the GPS. Calibrate the altimeter using the nearest airport information/METAR, or manually enter the QNH of the nearest airport. Offset sensor output value. • Measure the height (building/mountain/hiked/climbed) using the "Relative Altitude" feature (can be enabled in the app's Settings). • Notification about pressure change. "Notification custom rule" for you to define how and when the app sends notifications. Notify when air pressure changes indicate that extreme or worse weather may occur. • "Pressure Tracking" and "History Graph" require "Background App Refresh" or "Always Location Service" with "Exact update interval" (paid feature) enabled. • "My Area" allows you to define your frequent stay places, and the app tracks air pressure with location data. • Export history to CSV format and Today widget (paid features). • This app is the digital version compared with an aneroid or mercury barometer and can be adjusted to MSLP with additional features. CUSTOMIZABLE: You can change your barometer/altimeter appearance with: • Seven different housing colors. • Black, white or blue disk background. • Four different app backgrounds. • Three different types of needles. • Marker needle for easily monitor. • Dark or light Today widget theme. NOTES: • App only works on devices with a barometer sensor, such as iPhone 6/6s/7/8/X/11/12/13 (including Plus models), iPad Mini 4/Air 2/Pro, or later. • Weather icons on the dial: This only shows the air pressure trend like in an analog barometer. • Each time your device reboots, open the app for tracking with the "Exact update interval" feature work. • You may take the phone/tablet far away from computers, cables, and other magnetic sources to get accurate results. Turn your iPhone into a precision barometer. Your iPhone has a real barometric pressure sensor built in. Barometer puts it to work. See live sea-level pressure, watch the 3-hour trend, and get an early heads-up before the weather turns. Everything reads at a glance - on your Home Screen, your Lock Screen, and now your wrist. A live pressure gauge A beautiful, crafted dial shows your current mean sea-level pressure with a live 3-hour trend - rising, falling, or steady - plus clear 6-hour and 24-hour reference markers so you can see exactly where things are heading. History at a glance. Scroll back through 24 and 48 hours of pressure on a clean chart, so a passing front or a building high is obvious. Storm & clearing alerts • Barometer-derived alerts read your pressure and its trend to call storms early and tell you when it's clearing • Delivered as on-screen banners and optional background notifications, so you're warned even when the app is closed A classic barometer forecast. The time-honoured Zambretti method turns your pressure, trend, and wind into a plain-language forecast - computed from your own barometer, correct for both hemispheres. Feel the weather before you see it Many people sense pressure changes in their body before the sky shows a thing: headaches, migraines, sinus pressure, aching joints. Barometer helps you connect the two. • An optional wellbeing log records how you feel and stamps each entry with the real pressure you were experiencing - the actual air around you, not just the sea-level number • A summary builds as you log, showing what the pressure was doing when you felt off - falling, steady, or rising, low or high • Look back over time to spot your own patterns • Private to you, kept on your device, never shared Your sensor vs. Apple Weather Barometer pulls in Apple Weather for temperature, wind, and the official sea-level pressure, then shows your iPhone's own sensor reading side by side - so you see your exact local conditions, not just the nearest station. Built-in widgets • Live pressure on your Home or Lock Screen • The 3-hour trend, a 24-hour chart, and any active storm alert • One glance away, no need to open the app On your wrist • An Apple Watch app with your live pressure, trend, and 24-hour chart • A watch-face complication so the current reading is always one glance away • Stays fresh on its own with Apple Weather, even when your phone is out of reach Made yours • Eight hand-crafted colour themes, with System, Light, and Dark appearance • Your choice of pressure, temperature, wind, and elevation units • A recording log of every reading, with one-tap CSV export Extra tools • Density altitude for shooting and ballistics, in feet or metres Private by design. No account, no sign-up, no tracking. Your readings stay on your device. Barometer is built for iPhone - that's where the sensor lives. An Apple Watch app and complication keeps your latest reading a glance away on your wrist.
