Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Classix at 4.5 against MeTV App's 2.6. Classix also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (4K vs 689). MeTV App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classix sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. MeTV App asks for nothing beyond the download.
Classix holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classix has 4K ratings behind it against 689, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of Classix's written reviews are positive against 24% of MeTV App's.
Classix ships an update every 3 weeks, MeTV App every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
