Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Classix at none against Asset 15's shown. Classix also leads on ratings volume (4K vs 28) and rating (4.5 vs 4.1). Asset 15's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (44% vs 29%). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Classix sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Asset 15 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Classix holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classix has 4K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Classix's written reviews are positive against 44% of Asset 15's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Classix ships an update every 3 weeks, Asset 15 every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
