Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ahnik at none against LinkedIn Learning's 10. Ahnik also leads on review sentiment (72% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). LinkedIn Learning's advantage is ratings volume (78K vs 93) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinkedIn Learning sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Ahnik asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

LinkedIn Learning holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LinkedIn Learning has 78K ratings behind it against 93, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of LinkedIn Learning's written reviews are positive against 72% of Ahnik's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

LinkedIn Learning ships an update every 3 weeks, Ahnik every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
