Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: WhataHotel at free against GHA DISCOVERY's free with in-app purchases. WhataHotel also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). GHA DISCOVERY's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WhataHotel holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GHA DISCOVERY has 1.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
GHA DISCOVERY ships an update every 5 weeks, WhataHotel every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
