Dashguard holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cam Viewer has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Cam Viewer's written reviews are positive against 0% of Dashguard's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Cam Viewer ships an update every 2 months, Dashguard every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
