P is a water reminder for iPhone and Apple Watch that doesn’t make you log every glass. You log a bathroom visit in seconds, and P reminds you to drink water when it’s been a while. P tracks output, not intake: peer-reviewed studies support 24-hour pee frequency as a practical hydration indicator in healthy adults. P also works as a bladder diary to track how often you pee: log each bathroom visit from your iPhone or Apple Watch, add notes, and keep a record to discuss with your doctor. It’s great for Apple Watch or as a Lock Screen Widget, and not as complicated as a water tracker. Who wants to use an annoying, complicated water tracker to drink water? Up your hydration game with this app! Try it out, and see how this drink water reminder app can keep you aware of your body. Key features: - Drink water when your body needs it most, instead of based on just water intake - Great Apple Watch app: Put it on your watch face for fast access while you head to the restroom! - Customizable drink water reminder notifications - Apple Health integration - Lock Screen widgets - Home Screen widgets - Hydration calendar (pee count per day) - Add notes on pees - Volume tracking: record void volume in mL or oz for a complete voiding diary - See Where You Peed: include location on pees for a low-effort journal of your life - Tell Siri to “Log a P” - Data export as CSV - Supported by scientific research - Add friends so you can remind them to drink water - Earn your scroll: Water Break blocks apps you choose until you take a sip of water If you’ve ever had a UTI or kidney stones, you know how important it is to drink water. Hydration is so important! There can be many benefits of drinking water, like weight loss, healthy skin, mental clarity, and much more. Dehydration can hold you back from being your best self. Now it’s easy to know when it’s water time. This hydration app gets you in tune with your body, especially when you need to drink water most. P is like a fitness game, taking the water tracker concept and turning it around, so you don’t need to track water intake. It’s a much simpler free water drinking reminder app. Don’t break that streak! You can even see where you stack up against the streaks of other users on the Leaderboard. Even though P is designed to help you drink water as a hydration app and water drinking reminder app, you may also want to use it as a simple pee tracker or bathroom tracker. With volume tracking, P supports proper voiding diaries that medical providers request. This can be helpful for tracking data related to prostate conditions, bladder conditions, avoiding UTIs, avoiding kidney stones, and more. Remember, this is not a water tracker! There is no way to record when you drink water, or how much water you drink. Instead, it’s a hydration app based on how often you pee! Join the many happy users who have used P to drink water and monitor their hydration based on how often they pee instead of a water tracker! P does not provide medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. It’s just a fun way to remember to drink more water or track your pees. Ask a licensed medical professional if you have any questions about: - kidney stones - gout or other types of inflammatory arthritis - prostate conditions, or BPH - interstitial cystitis and bladder conditions - urinary tract infections (UTI) - getting well-hydrated to prevent hangovers - pelvic floor training and Kegel exercises to control urinary incontinence - postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) P includes optional subscriptions. The apps you choose ask you one question before they open: why now? Type a short answer, read it back as one calm sentence, and two seconds later Continue appears. Then you go in, or you put the phone down. No timer to wait out and nothing gets blocked. Everything runs on your iPhone. What you type is never stored or uploaded; it is gone the moment you continue. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the apps. Choose from a list of common social, video, chat, music and browser apps, or add any app by its link scheme. 2. Route each one through Pause. This uses a Shortcuts automation you set up once per app; the app walks you through the five steps and shows the exact link to paste. 3. Open a routed app. Instead of the feed you get one screen: the question, a text field, then your own reason mirrored back in a calm sentence, then Continue. The friction is the typing and the reading, nothing more. Take an app off the list and its friction is gone the same minute. TWO TONES Neutral mirrors your sentence back plainly. Dry is shorter and a little more blunt. Switch in Settings whenever you like. WHAT IT NEVER DOES - No account and no sign-in - No server, no analytics, no ads, no notifications - No streaks, badges, points or "minutes saved" screens - No history of what you typed; each reason lives in memory only for the moment it belongs to - No reading of the content inside the apps you route - No network calls of its own WHAT YOU NEED An iPhone on iOS 26. On iPhone 15 Pro and newer, with the system's on-device intelligence turned on, the reflection is written by the on-device language model in iOS 26. On other iPhones, or with it turned off, Pause uses a built-in set of static reflections instead, and the routing and the typing work exactly the same way. Either way it works offline. WHO IT IS FOR People who reach for the same few apps many times a day and want a beat before the next one, without handing a blocker the keys. Pause is an agreement with yourself. You can walk around it, and it will not tell on you. FREE AND PAID Your first routed session is free with the whole mechanic, so you feel it work before you decide anything. From the second session Pause asks you to subscribe or buy once; you can answer Maybe later and it asks again a day later. Both subscriptions start with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. The one-time purchase never expires and is family-shareable. Pause is made by Hadger, a one-person iOS studio that ships calm, private apps for iPhone. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS - Pause Weekly: weekly subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, auto-renews until cancelled. - Pause Annual: yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, auto-renews until cancelled. - Pause Lifetime: one-time purchase, family-shareable, never expires. - The reflection mechanic is free for the first routed-app session.
