The clearest difference is rating: TexSmith at 4.4 against RSNTMNT's 3.5. TexSmith also leads on ratings volume (419 vs 4). RSNTMNT's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TexSmith holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TexSmith has 419 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of RSNTMNT's written reviews are positive against 53% of TexSmith's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RSNTMNT ships an update every 5 days, TexSmith every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
