Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Peng Huoth Mobile at none against DMSS's 12. DMSS's advantage is ratings volume (79K vs 3) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. DMSS sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Peng Huoth Mobile asks for nothing beyond the download.
Peng Huoth Mobile holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DMSS has 79K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Peng Huoth Mobile's written reviews are positive against 89% of DMSS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Peng Huoth Mobile ships an update monthly, DMSS every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
