Just rubbish.. I regret getting junk Dahua cameras and using the even worse junk of an app. It’s so confusing and unintuitive. Just garbage junk.
Notifications no longer received
Used to receive doorbell notifications. iPhone me updated to iOS 26 and also have the latest version of the app.

Fair, but not yet great
This app does a fair job of providing mobile access to our Dahua NVR system, but to be great it needs a few things. Firstly, it needs a way of tagging events across different cameras in a way that lets you then export as a package a set of snippets that tell a coherent story of an incident. Second, it needs to better adapt to being run on MacOS desktop, so that it makes better use of larger displays and has gesture equivalent UX experiences (eg on desktop you can’t easily pinch to zoom). Thirdly, the ability to surface more of the NVR system config and settings (eg a list of camera properties for export into an Asset Management register). The key is to keep up the velocity of progressively delivering app improvements.

Please check updates before releasing
I used this app for the past year or two. Almost every update fixes one thing breaks something else. Since the last update the speaker on my camera ( DH-IPC-HDW3849H-AS-PV ) is barely audible no matter the speaker volume level selected in setting. Please try to solve this soon.
So Laggy!!!!
The app is amazing however. SOOOOO laggy nowadays. Takes long time to load live video and replay. So annoying.

HORRIBLE
We have been using this system for over a year and it was fine for a while but in the last few months the basic functions of the cameras do not work severly impacting our safety in lack of functionality. If you use the toggles for detections, it only gets worse. Trash, DO NOT BUY THIS WORTHLESS SYSTEM.

Latest update killed it
The latest update, yesterday 28th August has completely knackered the functionality. Sort it out!!
No doorbell or camera video
Absolutely disappointed there is no contact from anyone when requesting support. Both are offline and am unable to reset or complete any type of troubleshooting. ZERO customer service or support.

Once again another update and another fail. Keeps saying device is offline. It’s not offline, it’s connected to the same network I’m using for work.
Can’t get camera live feed on mobile data or wifi connection.
I just don’t see the point of having a security system that can’t be reliable.

Too slow
When it comes to security you want it right away not after it’s too late. Watching the little hamster wheel spin with a gig of internet service just doesn’t cut it.
