RouteCard turns your rides and runs into beautiful cards and flyover videos, in seconds, entirely on your iPhone. Import a GPX or FIT file from any device (Garmin, Wahoo, Apple Watch and more), pick a workout from Apple Health, or connect Strava or Wahoo. Then make it yours: • LOOKS — Twelve looks, one tap. Each sets the colours, type and layout, and everything stays editable. • STATS STYLES — Fourteen ways to show your numbers, from a frosted panel or one big number to a ledger, a ticket stub, a seal or a scoreboard. • CALLOUTS, MAP SHEET & ROADBOOK — Callouts point out your longest climb, your fastest kilometre or mile and your high point. Map sheet frames your ride like a printed map, with a legend and a scale. Roadbook sets out the profile, your climbs and the towns you passed. • MULTI-DAY TRIPS — Pick a GPX or FIT file for each day and get the whole trip on one card: a colour and a row for each day, numbered overnight stops, and totals for the trip. The flyover flies the whole trip, day by day. • FLYOVER — Fly over your ride on the map. The camera follows you along the route, names the towns you pass, and slows for your climbs and your top speed. • MADE FOR STORIES — Shapes for Stories and Reels, feed posts and widescreen. Stats and titles keep clear of Instagram's buttons. • LAPS & POWER — Your laps and splits with time, speed and watts, and your best power from 5 seconds to 2 hours. • MAPS, PHOTOS & VIDEO — Put your route on a street map toned to match your look, on your own photo, or over a looping video. • STYLE THE ROUTE — Colour it by elevation, gradient, speed, heart rate, power, cadence, time or laps. Adjust thickness, opacity, shadow and markers. • STATS & OVERLAYS — Distance, elevation, time, pace, heart rate and more, plus an elevation chart and a title. Drag anything where you want it; pinch to resize. • STAMPS & STICKERS — Export just the route, the stats or the elevation profile on a transparent background, or a sticker of your line and three numbers, light or dark, to lay over your own photos and videos. • ANIMATE IT — Watch your route draw itself, then export an MP4, synced to a video background if you add one. • EXPORT ANYWHERE — Save a crisp image or video and share it to Instagram, Messages, anywhere. One switch hides where you start and end, and on a trip, where each day starts and ends. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your rides are read and drawn on your iPhone and never uploaded. RouteCard uses the internet for three things only: fetching the map for a map background or a flyover (OpenStreetMap tiles, and a small settings file from routecard.app), connecting to Strava or Wahoo if you choose to, and checking your subscription with Apple. Rides from Strava are kept on your iPhone for 7 days, then fetched again from Strava when you open them. Apple Health workouts are read on the device. There are no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. Made for cyclists, runners, hikers, and anyone who wants their adventures to look as good as they felt. ROUTECARD PRO — SUBSCRIPTION A subscription is required to use RouteCard. Every feature above is part of RouteCard Pro, an auto-renewing subscription, and a 14-day free trial is included. • Length and price: $1.99 per month, after a 14-day free trial. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at $1.99/month unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Verdict
The clearest difference is price: RouteCard at Free against WOD Timer's $4.99. RouteCard also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). WOD Timer's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (202 vs 1). On rating and ads there is nothing between them.
