Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CATCHTABLE at none against Ramen Beast's 2. CATCHTABLE also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (2K vs 24). Ramen Beast's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 51%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ramen Beast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. CATCHTABLE asks for nothing beyond the download.
CATCHTABLE holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CATCHTABLE has 2K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Ramen Beast's written reviews are positive against 51% of CATCHTABLE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Ramen Beast ships an update every 9 months, CATCHTABLE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
