Both are free to download. Annke Sight sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $5.59 per month. Guarding Vision asks for nothing beyond the download.
Guarding Vision holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Guarding Vision has 22K ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Guarding Vision's written reviews are positive against 44% of Annke Sight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Guarding Vision ships an update monthly, Annke Sight every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
