Verdict
金八APP and ONews both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ONews's written reviews are positive against 50% of 金八APP's. ONews also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). 金八APP's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
