Custom Ump is the essential digital tool for any baseball, softball or kickball umpire who needs a flexible, powerful, and reliable game tracker. Stop trying to force generic scorekeeping apps to fit your needs. Instead, configure a digital scoreboard that perfectly matches your league's specific rules, no matter how unique they are. This is the umpire app built for total control and unwavering accuracy from the first pitch to the final out. Total Rule Flexibility Every league, from recreational softball to competitive youth baseball, has its own quirks and specific regulations. As the umpire, you are the ultimate authority on the field, and your tools must reflect the specific rules of the game you are officiating. Custom Ump was built from the ground up to handle any variation, giving you the power to create a digital scorekeeper that works exactly like your league's official rulebook. No more mental gymnastics or trying to remember obscure bylaws. A great umpire needs tools that adapt to the situation, and this app is designed for that specific purpose, ensuring you can call any game with complete confidence. • Set completely custom starting counts for balls, strikes, and fouls to perfectly match your league's official standards. If your league starts every at-bat with a 1-1 count (or 0-1-1 where fouls count separately) to speed up play, you can set that as the default and never have to adjust it manually again. • Define the maximums for any count, allowing you to enforce specific rules like a four-foul out, ensuring the game flows exactly as it should according to your local bylaws, without any confusion or debate on the field. • Configure the total number of innings for a regulation game, with clear support for how the game proceeds into potential overtime innings. The app seamlessly handles the transition, letting you focus on the heightened pressure of extra innings. • Add all the teams in your league into the app, complete with their official colors, to make game setup faster and the scoreboard easier to identify. This simple setup saves you time before the game and adds a professional touch that coaches and players appreciate. In-Game Management for Total Focus During a fast-paced game, your focus must be on the field, not on fumbling with a complicated application. The interface is designed to be straightforward, putting all necessary controls at your fingertips so you can manage every aspect of the game efficiently and get your eyes back on the action. This is how a modern umpire keeps the game moving smoothly and professionally, maintaining the pace of play and command of the field without unnecessary digital distractions. • Assign custom team names and official colors to the home and away teams, creating a professional and easy-to-read scoreboard for players, coaches, and fans. A clear visual display reduces questions and keeps everyone informed at a glance. • Track game time with a built-in timer that not only counts down the regulation period but also clearly displays how much overtime has elapsed. This is critical for leagues with strict time limits or for managing tournament schedules effectively. • Keep track of all critical information in one place: balls, strikes, outs, fouls, the current inning, and the score for both teams are all managed within the app. Having a central hub for all game data means you are always in control and fully informed. • Stay organized from the first inning to the last, with all the data you need to officiate effectively presented in a straightforward manner, allowing you to make calls with confidence based on accurate, up-to-the-second information.
