Verdict
Rainbow Shops and VShop Belize both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of VShop Belize's written reviews are positive against 73% of Rainbow Shops's. VShop Belize also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). Rainbow Shops's advantage is ratings volume (42K vs 5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Rainbow Shops against 4.8 for VShop Belize. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rainbow Shops has 42K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Rainbow Shops's written reviews are positive against 100% of VShop Belize's.
Rainbow Shops ships an update fortnightly, VShop Belize every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
