Verdict
Rainbow Shops and Olijban both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Olijban's written reviews are positive against 73% of Rainbow Shops's. Olijban also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). Rainbow Shops's advantage is ratings volume (42K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Rainbow Shops against 5.0 for Olijban. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rainbow Shops has 42K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 73% of Rainbow Shops's written reviews are positive against 100% of Olijban's.
Rainbow Shops ships an update fortnightly, Olijban every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
