LESA is a reading game for children who are learning to read. Kids read real stories, answer questions, collect rewards and climb levels. Reading stops being homework and starts being the best part of the day. Built for children in grades 1 to 4, LESA measures what matters: Reading speed, comprehension, minutes read and, most importantly, the joy of reading. WHY KIDS LOVE LESA A world of characters: Kids pick their favorite LESA character and bring it along on every reading adventure. Stories worth reading: A growing library of illustrated stories, written and leveled for young readers. Rewards that work: Finish a story, answer the quiz and unlock the playground. Reading comes first, playing comes right after. Levels and streaks: Every story counts. Kids climb levels and keep their streak alive, one day at a time. WHY PARENTS LOVE LESA Real insight: See reading minutes, speed, comprehension and streaks in one clear and simple overview. Progress with a smile: Follow your child's journey without timers, nagging or paper reading logs. A calmer evening: The daily reading battle becomes a daily reading habit. WHY IT MATTERS Around the world, children are reading less and enjoying it less. LESA was built to turn that around, starting with joy. Kids who enjoy reading read more. Kids who read more read better. MADE WITH CARE LESA is made in Iceland by a team of parents, designers and engineers, and won the Icelandic Web Award. The first version supports reading in Icelandic and helps preserve one of the world's oldest living languages, with more languages on the way. Whether your child is sounding out their first words or racing through their first chapter book, LESA meets them where they are and makes the next step fun. Let's make reading a fun adventure!
