Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Nextcloud at 4.7 against KDE Connect's 4.2. Nextcloud also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (10K vs 271). KDE Connect's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
